The competition tasks of the skill category are based on the Vocational qualification in business. The qualification title of the basic qualification is merkonomi.
The professional may work in various organisations in, for instance, customer service and sales, financial and office services, accounting firms or financial departments of companies or organisations in different fields.
This skill will not be held at the Taitaja 2027 competition, as the simultaneously held Abilympics competition includes a corresponding skill, in which a representative of the Finnish National Team is taking part.

Description of the skill
The qualification title of the Vocational qualification in business is merkonomi.
Financial administration professionals work in a customer-oriented and interactive manner in ordinary service and sales situations. They understand the importance of profitability in their work. They work as members of the work community with different people. The professional follows instructions and is able to look for information if necessary.
TaitajaPLUS competition is intended for professional students with special needs.
Competition is individual and has no age limit.
Skill requirements
Business operations are based on the objectives of the Vocational Qualification in Business, the qualification requirements and the vocational skills requirements at a satisfactory level. The competition tasks measure the core competence required in the business life of the qualification units of the Vocational Qualification in Business and the sales unit.
