Sustainability programme

The Taitaja event aims to promote sustainable development, equality, and well-being in all areas. The program’s goal is to ensure that competitions are organized ethically, safely, and with respect for the environment, while creating fair and inspiring conditions for all participants.

In 2026, we will apply for the Ekokompassi certificate for the Taitaja event for the first time. The audit will take place during the Taitaja2026 event, and if the certificate is granted, it will remain valid for future events and will be audited every three years. The certificate demonstrates that the event is produced and organised responsibly, with respect for both the environment and people.
